Bought this one yesterday as we already have plans to meet DH's cousins there for lunch when we're all in town at the same time. From what I've read this place doesn't get the best reviews, but since it was the place they picked I figured we may as well save some money while we're at it. BTW - the lunch option also includes the unlimited beer and wine. Maybe this will make the meal more palatable.

It is the best viewing area buffet (IMO) in Las Vegas. The large windows looking out over the Lagoon and wildlife is very relaxing and beautiful. Unfortunately the buffet is very generic. Unless things have changed in the last 2 years they run there buffet like a regular hotel buffet. Instead of individual serving stations , there are long lines of steam tables .Everything is cooked in the back and when things get low they bring more out. This results in several items sitting out for over an hour before being refreshed. 30 minutes in a steam tray with heat lamps can destroy just about anything. This could be the best buffet in town. Who else in town even has a view? Why they don't try to improve is beyond me.

Bought 3 to take care of 6 of our "20 somethings" who will be joining my girl and I for my 24yr old's birthday trip (turns 25 on 10/12, we arrive 10/9). My girl bought 2 more since a total of 10 of us should be in town by Thursday night, 10/10, and the kids will be staying at the Quad.

I haven't tried the buffet in over 3 years, and when I did the thing that stood out the most was clams (first time I ever tried them).I do agree with frankly. They have to have 1 of the best views of any buffet in town.
