Groupon vs Travelzoo. Which 1 do you prefer?

I have purchased a number of Groupons over the years. Even purchased some for my Vegas trip next week. Today I stumbled across Travelzoo with some very similar coupons (mostly buffets) at a considerably lower price. I did notice that some of the Travelzoo buffet coupons didn't include things like unlimited beer and wine where as the Groupons did. I wish that I would have seen the Travelzoo Pampas Grill - surf and turf dinner buffet for 2 ($65 including a bottle of wine) as opposed to $89 on Groupon ($71 I paid when I did the "Fall3" promo to save 20%, and it comes with 2 cocktails and a dessert) . $24.00 difference (basically and bottle of wine vs 2 drinks and a slice of ...something). Pretty much set with a couple of MRB's but for my March Madness trip I definitly will do more looking into Travelzoo options (and Groupons).

Definilty would appreciate any experience, strength and hope on this topic. Especially if anyone knows of some Travelzoo codes!!
I have had good experiences with Both!
Both are excellent. Sometimes you get a better deal with groupon and sometimes with travelzoo. There is always some subtle difference.
I agree, I have used both with great success. Just compare the deals to see what best suits your needs.

Living Social is another site you might want to check out as well.

Whichever gives you the better deal. Have done very well with both, especially for shows.
I've used both, but mostly Groupon.

Remember to sign up for Ebates.com and go through them whenever you buy Groupon (or any other store you buy from online that ebates has deals with). It's free to sign up and use. You just have to remember to go to ebates.com and then find Groupon and then make your purchase to get your 3 - 6% back from them. I don't do a ton of shopping online, but I've gotten checks back from ebates in the last couple years for over $300 total. That's not bad for just going through their site first!
Both are great. Travelzoo tends to have more travel deals. I have not had a bad experience with either one.
I prefer Groupon as coupon value is worth face value post promotion period, should you forget to redeem one. Just finished writing this article on this very topic! Save money in Las Vegas using Groupon
