Lucky’s Race & Sports Book Futures Coupon

I took a chance on the futures bet coupon in this years new book. I do very few bets in the sports book and this was the first time I did one with Lucky's. Decided to take a chance before the Wild Card games with a $25 bet with 25 match for $50 on the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl. At 10 to 1 odds my $25 bet got me $500 tonight. Thanks for such a fun coupon like that this year in the book.

How long are you allowed to keep the winning ticket before it expires? I was thinking about placing a Superbowl bet in December but I wasn't going to be back in town until the following December ... I didn;t nkow if I could wait that long to cash in. Probably just as well. I would have picked the Patriots

I always go around the playoffs...On the tickets they always have an address to send it by certified mail if you are not going to be able to redeem within 120 days....so it just costs a couple bucks to mail it in.

The instructions on the back of the ticket actually says that if you choose to mail it in to send it by registered mail. That service costs $12 if I remember correctly. However, you probably could mail it first class (44 cents) along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and it'll suffice. But given that this winning ticket is worth $500 it may be worth sending it in through registered mail if you can't cash it in person.

I sent it by registered mail, which allowed for insurance up to the winning amount...was trying to go off of memory...

I've always ended up sending in my winning tickets.. and I've taken a chance and sent them for .44cents. never had a problem and always got paid. FYI
