LVA 2/1 coupon at Red Rock and Green Valley buffets.

I was just in Vegas last week. Used the Green Valley 2/1 buffet on Monday night for $11.99 plus tax.

Went to Red Rock on Thursday night. The night manager wouldn't honor the LVA 2/1 unless I paid regular $18.99 price.

Go figure.

Just a heads up.
I'm assuming you were trying to get 50% off as a single diner. Station doesn't offer that. Other places do and it's noted on the offer where that applies. You can always grab someone else who's single and split. We hear about that all the time and maybe you make a new friend.
no, actually, I had a buddy with me. I was buying 2 buffets.
So, you pay 18.99 for 1 and the other one is free. Sounds like a good deal to me for an outstanding buffet.

YES indeed .... Red Rock Resort is charging full price when using the 2 fer 1 buffet coupons, instead of giving the advertised December special buffet pricing with the players card.
I questioned the cashier and her reply was " that's instructions from the manager."

SHAME ON Station casino's management for allowing Red Rock Resort to not honor their advertised Special players card pricing.
Now I get it. That's not right.
Same thing happened to us in November. All other stations casinos we ate at gave us the boarding pass rate along with the 2 for 1. Red Rock charged full price and no boarding pass discount. The 2 for 1 is still a great deal. I guess Red Rock feels they are above the other stations.

Personally, I thought Sante Fe Station had a great buffet for cheaper and gives the boarding pass discount with the 2 for 1.
Earlier in the year I was also denied the Boarding Pass discount when using the LVA coupon at the Red Rock Buffet.

At the time it was only a dollar or two difference so it wasn't a big deal, but it was nice in the past when you were able to get the buy-one-get-one along with the discounted buffet price.
Red Rock told us one promotion at a time; either the Boarding Pass or the 2fer. For 2 bucks, didn't upset me all that much!
Note that the 2011 Stations buffet 2-4-1 coupons are for when one guest is CASH PAYING. I don't know if the "Boarding Pass" rate would apply, but it sure sounds like you couldn't pay the balance with Boarding Pass points. That's a definite downgrade from last year. ah, nuts.
