MRB Gold Coast 2 for 1 Buffet

Went to the Gold Coast tonight with my Mom and Dad. We are on vacation from Canada. My Mom and I each had at least 200 points on our players cards so we went to the rewards desk to redeem our 2 for 1 buffet cupon. To our surprise we were each given a cupon for a free buffet. It was seniors day so my Dad got 50% off print out cupon from the rewards computer kiosk. 3 of us ate for $7.03 ! BONUS

Coupon is good for one person and one guest. Each must earn 200 pts. Very easy score for two free buffets, especially if you're a video poker player, cause they have three different kinds of vp that are very close to full pay. The offer is the same at Sam's Town, and even a better deal there (assuming the buffet is decent), because they have over 100% vp.

If my Dad and I both have POV books, can he use the coupon on day one with me as guest. Then the next day I use another coupon with my Dad as the guest (if we both earn 200 points each day)? I just assumed not, but you never know.

snow1165 - I'm betting that the offer is only good once per person per calendar year, because they probably log it with your player's card. But maybe the back of the coupon would give more details.

I would imagine this to be the case - the back of the coupon doesn't really specify - but there is a place to write only one B Connected number on it, so who knows? A call to the slot club might help?

However, there is a similar coupon in the ACG - without the guest option - so you would both need a coupon if you wanted to do this twice using that option.

Remember, Monday's are "Young at Heart Days" at Gold Coast too - over 50 and you get 50% off the buffet (and I believe you can pay the balance with points), which may or may not help you. Additional benefits that day for the 50+'ers also include 10x points on reels, 4x points on video poker, free video poker tourney entry and Free Bingo Blue Pack (with purchase).

The 4x points on vp on Y@H days seems to be a recent change - hasn't it been 5x points?
I also notice that GC has 10x points on reels and 4x points on vp on Fridays for all B-connected players.
