My sister and I both got ours today!!! We have less than a month to go for our first trip of 2011 and cannot wait!!!

I don't think two shuttle rides and 20 minutes of walking is of much consolation to people who paid extra to have the book in their mailbox before their trip.

Not here yet in Akron, OH. Jan newsletter seemed like it arrived later than usual so assuming that the MRB is sill making it's way here.

Mine arrived yesterday after I renewed my membership last Friday. I would call that excellent service. However, my son renewed his membership in November, opted for the 2011 MRB, and hasn't seen it yet! I would have thought that his would have been among the earliest to be mailed. I was talking with a member in Scotland the other day and he received his MRB's last week. Something just doesn't seem right , so my son is contacting LVA today to look into his situation.

People who renewed before the end of 2010 became part of the "mass mailing" of books done by the mailing house. Your book comes much faster if you renew after the first of the year, when your mailing is handled individually by LVA (not as a mass mailing).

Thnaks for that tip, Sue. That is good to know especially if planning a trip in Jan. I renewed in Nov so I am one of the mass mailings. I wonder if the mass mailing is sent using a cheaper (slower) postal rate than what the LVA office uses.

Renewed mid December from Ohio and got my book in the mail today. Thanks LVA!
