Opera House Coupon Report

I went to the Opera House on a Monday evening at about 7:00. Yes, it is a small dive in North Las Vegas, but the parking lot was well lit, parking is only a few steps from the door, and there was visible security inside and out.

I presented my MBR coupon at the slot club before I started playing. The woman at the booth was very nice. She said to go ahead and play, and bring back the coupon if I needed to use it. This made the play even stronger because if I won, I could come back another time to use the coupon again.

I played $1 9/6/5 DB poker (97.81%). During my play, I did hit a 4 of a kind and wanted to use the ACG coupon for a 40 coin bonus. I asked the waitress to send over a slot attendant. A security guard came over and took my ACG coupon to a supervisor. About 10 minutes later, the supervisor brought me the $40 cash.

Unfortunately, even with the 4 of a kind, I lost the $400. I took my MBR coupon back to the players club, but had to hunt down the attendant. She was also responsible for the Bingo game that was going on. She filled out some paperwork and had me take it to the cage, where I received my $200 cash back. The process was a little slow, but all of the staff were very friendly.

The $40 bonus from the ACG coupon did not affect my MBR half back. I received the full $200, plus the $40 bonus for a net loss of $160. I did have a few complimentary Budweisers, and earned enough points for my play to get two packs of cigarettes.

True, it's not Bellagio, and I didn't come out ahead, but I still had fun with it
Well that's good to know and thank you for reporting this!
