Opera House Half Back Coupon

Any idea how the MRB loss rebate coupon interacts with the ACG 40 coin 4OK bonus? I assume they hand pay the 40K bonus so would they count that against your losses?

What about using multiple coupons at Opera House? In previous years, has anyone used both MRB and ACG 4OK coupons on the same day? Were there any issues? You'd hate to use the ACG coupon, then lose your $400 and have the MRB coupon be invalidated because you already used the ACG coupon.
I used the Opera House coupon on Fri. Jan. 28. Not wanting to take any chances, I gave them the coupon in advance. I played the best game I could find, about 98% return in quarters (bonus poker, I think it was).
I lost $100. I had already been there longer than I wanted to be, so I stopped.
The guy who had taken my coupon was tied up (apparently the players club personnel have dual duties and are not always at their booth). While I was waiting for him to get free, I dropped 5 bucks in a Wolf Run machine and turned it into $15. After about 10 or 15 minutes, somebody else was at the booth, and I was now only $90 down, so I got a slip for $45 back to take to the cashier and I got it refunded in cash.
As far as the atmosphere, it seems to have a Mexican feel to it (just listen to the music), but seemed perfectly safe. They must assume that everyone in there is a local, cause they gave me all kinds of entries for drawings that would be going on all through February, and I kindly took them and then threw them in the trash on my way out the door.
going to vegas this week anyone tried this coupon lately and is it worth going there.
I used it. There is only one guy who seems to control everything so you'd better go during the day.

You have to sign up for their card and then you can play on any machine. They have one triple play VP in the house and a few single play VP machines...nothing with a high return.

I played and lost. The guy was having lunch so I waited for him and then he filled out alot of paperwork which I took to the casino cage and they gave me cash for half of my loss.

This place is far north on LV Blvd so you must have a car. It's not the nicest looking place but, the guy was very friendly and I think they appreciate the business.

It's worth it if you have a car.

I would also suggest the Tropicana deal which refunds half (in bonus play) on the day of loss and the other half a month later. That second half stays on the machine for a year. As it turned out I hit four aces there and walked out a satisfied winner.

I tried to use it last, but I kept hitting 4K's and couldn't lose. Walked out of there $200 ahead.

I love advocating public transit to Vegas visitors, but I agree about only visiting the Opera House with a car.

While there's a bus right to the front door from downtown, and it only takes about a 20 minute ride, if you win some money, you'll be glad to be able to quickly hop in a car and drive off. The area's dicey enough that I wouldn't want to sit at a bus stop with a big wad of cash that people just saw me win inside.

azrobert gave good advice.
