More advanced affiliate marketers often "mask" the affiliate code in their links. That way the links they thoughtfully include in posts announcing "deals" don't betray the fact that their actual goal is to profit from their readers.

Ethically I think all "affillate" posters, bloggers, reviewers, etc. should disclose up front that they'll profit if you buy something using links they provide. That kind of honesty doesn't diminish their credibility, it enhances it. Just my opinion.

You all have way too much time on your hands! If you are on this site as a subsciber trust your fellow members! I sent a link over because at the time there was a three day deal for 10 percent off the already great deal you get every thirty days with slot coupons. There is no comission. If three people use the code with a new credit card that have never done this before I would get a credit but that has happened like once in five years this is sharing a deal. Stop being miserable and let people post good information.

At a minimum this is poor etiquette. Most discussion message boards ban the use of user affiliate or kickback links.

As mentioned above. If I had any intention of being underhanded I would have hid a tie back to me. The time I sent that they were having an additional 10% off if you used a link.

We are all adults if you don't want to use a link like that don't but there is no extra charge if you use the site direct or a link.

If anyone ever wants credit for a purchase I make put it here and I will use it if I can. This is a member board that we pay to be a part of. I thought the goal was to help each other out.
