I was at the Sahara on Wedneday, 4/20 and they would not accept either the MRB 50 for 40 or the SCG 25 matchplay. Too bad they would not honor their coupons till the end. The place was a ghost town as well.
I can verify this post. Visited recently and was denied. Pit Boss told me they had stopped honoring any coupons at the end of April. I promptly cashed my checks back in and headed for the cage and then the door. Never played a hand. Lots of history in that old place, but the only reason I ever visited the past few years was the ACG and LVA coupons.
Sahara *IS* a ghost town - and I see ppl have started ripping the place to pieces - door handles had missing colored glass pieces...signs missing in some areas...I do have my $1.00 chip though - didn't steal it to get it! Ha-Ha!
