Similar ACG and LVA Free Play Coupons

Last year El Cortez took both free play coupons from both ACG and LVA--we just had to use them different days. Was wondering what people's experiences have been w/the similar Ellis Island and Riviera coupons from each source for free play?

With Riviera, they said that coupons could only be used once per trip (so I'd have to use the ACG coupon on another trip).

Some do have 1 per year rules. My wife and I have separate cards everywhere, so we each use one

El Cortez is one per day. Just tried to use both last week.

On my last trip, I had to use the ACG one day and the LVA the next. Even though they are two seperate coupons/books, they refused to use them together. (Although I have used them together in the past)

Calipso, are you referring to El Cortez requiring you to come back a 2nd day, or was it Riviera or Ellis Island w/their similar coupons?

El Cortex has for the past 3 or 4 years always required the coupons to be played on different days. I've asked every year and received the same answer. Riviera said you could only use one or the other per trip. I specifically asked if I could return the next day to play the other one and was told "No, maybe if you came back next month." Ellis Island allowed us to play to play $20 through and redeem both coupons.

Thanks for confirming EI will take both--sounds like Riviera is the only place where both free play can't be used on the same trip. That helps a bit w/planning.

Wife and I both used both coupons at both places a couple days apart with no problem. In fact, when we went to the Riv the first time, she was told she already had a similar free play (that the casino had given her for some reason unknown to us) in her account, and to use that first, then come back and she could then use the ACG coupon.
