Spirit and Allegiant still doing freeplay promos?

Anyone know if these "el cheapo" airlines are still doing promos to get Vegas folks to fly with them?

Last I heard the D offered any Spirit flyer $50 in freeplay for showing a ticket within 24 hours.

Also, Allegiant apparently had freeplay offers in their sky magazine for El Cortez, also downtown.

I just called the players club at the D and they do still have a promotion but now it's a match play for blackjack, roulette or craps. They give you (2) $25 chips and you have to match them with your own money. My friend did this in February and was fortunate to win both of them. It must be done within 24 hours of arriving.

Yes, last time I flew on Allegiant (Feb), they had the ElCo free play in the flt mag.

You need to show proof that you flew that Airline ( boarding pass, confirmation of your reservation, etc) for them to honour

They were still in the magazine June 5th. (D & ElCo)

The D slot club told me the Spirit promo is ending on 08/31.

You do not need the Allegiant onflight magazine to claim - all you need to do is go to the players club and provide proof that you flew Allegiant ( ticket stub, itinerary,booking confirmation email, etc). They take a photcopy of proof for their records and you can only do this 1 time per year.
