Tropicana $200 rebate offer

For awhile now, Tropicana has had an offer called "Even The Odds" which is very similar to the Terrible's $100 loss-rebate offer.

Sign up for their card, lose up to $200 in the first day, and get back half your loss in free-play the same day, and the other half starting on the 3rd day of the following month (for up to a year later).

I know, it's not an LVA offer. And it's for new members only. And the "half now, half later" aspect is kind of a pain.

I don't see any threads about this offer here. (Not recently anyway.)

Anything more to know about this?

NEW players...lose up to $200 and you get your losses in free play...half now, half 30 days later, good for up to a year.

Just be aware the the FP is not good on all machines.

I was told by the booth person that if you haven't used your Trop players card in 3 years the offer was good for you too!

I've read that the rebate offer is good for play on Not So Ugly Ducks. Is that true?

One of these posts says the 3rd day of the next month,,,another says after 30 days...which is correct?? I ask because I am staying at the trop in during one month and will also be there after the 3rd day of the next month...anyone know for sure??

Did it last week and was told by players club that it was the 3rd of the month. Also know of other LVA'ers who said this as well from practical experience.

It doesn't hurt to check at players club to confirm. Also, I think the 2nd half fp stays on your account for 6+ months so even if you don't get it now, you might have the ability to get it later assuming you're back before expiration.

Dan: what were the best vp games you saw at the Trop? I'm going to do this offer in June provided the vp is halfway decent.

That was not true when I visited the Tropicana in March. I had a card that I played on once, about 8 years ago, and was not eligible from the promotion.
