Why was M Studio buffet coupon removed from MRB?

It appears it has been replaced with Mirage buffet.
I tried the Mirage buffet last year and wasn't impressed for a classy hotel.
Very limited choices and poor service and this was the thoughts of other strangers at the buffet.

I have eaten at the M and it was great....even with its remote location-you must get there early or face long lineups.

The 2-4-1 coupon really helped make it an incredible deal.
The M has sent me emails to promote 2-4-1-'s in Jan on certain dates.

I suggest you check their site and they will update u on any offers.

Don't know the answer to your question but I'm pretty sure the Mirage buffet was in last year. In fact I think it was the only coupon in the book I used. Totally agree on the service but I thought the food was pretty good (but not good enough to pay full price).

I'd love to try the M but all the reports of massive lines have scared me off. It's a long way out there to drive and then run into a 90 minute line. Hopefully I'll get to try it before it goes downhill.
Anthony rendered an explanation of this, and it may be part of the reason why the book was a little bit late this year. He dealt with the M and apparently couldn't get anywhere with them.
I am a casino employee in West Virginia and I work for Penn gaming, who has taken over ownership of the M, and i can totally understand why he would have not been able to get anywhere with his negotiations. I can't get them to listen to a thing I say either.
the Mirage 2 4 1 was in there last year. i tried it and it was good!

I preferred the Mirage over the M. While the food is good at the M, for me, it is not worth the horrible experience. I stopped there on 3-4 occasions and found the line 2+ hours long (I was trying off times). No way am i waiting 2 hours for any meal. On the fifth try I ended up waiting for an hour. My patience was not rewarded. The tables were jammed together so close that several people jostled our table as they walked by. To top it off they ran out of several items that were not replaced during the entire 60 minutes we were there. Most important they ran out of prime rib. This was around 12/22/10.
It was not a pleasant experience and even with a 2/1 coupon my wife and I decided we would not return to the M buffet. Just my experience and opinion..
For whatever reason M decided to not be involved in the MRB. I feel it was a poor decision. It seemed like they are just shooting themselves in the foot. I mean it is really out of the way for visitors unless they are staying at M or South Point. The buffet is very good and I'm sure they would get more mileage being in of the LVA--MRB to attract new customers. They did run a coupon for Saturday Seafood Buffet BOGOF for the month of January with limited hours.
M doesn't need out of towners dribbling in-- they had a solid local fan base.

Besides,
it's recently sold so we have no idea if the new owners will continue to keep up the quaility- odds are NOT good/ as they have removed the free soda fountains in casinos and taken away the other slot club booth by parking.
I cycled a few hundred dollars through their video poker while I was there......after eating one of their brunch buffets with a friend (using the MRB coupon). I won't be returning since there is no coupon.

So I guess they lose my business and a few others.
The reason I feel they are not in the MRB this year is poor judgement call on M management team. Without the coupon they will miss a lot of LVA business. My thoughts is they will be running newspaper coupons beofre this all runs out. Ye sit is a great buffet but when i figure the time and effort to ge there I will think twice before I make another trip out there. It hard for a stand alone casino that far out to attract visitors. Nothing wrong with M it is a very nice casino, with lots of nice food choices but it takes customers to crack the nut and I'm sure it going to be a long hard roard for them to do that. Only time will tell.
In the mail I received 3 coupons for the M from Hollywood Indiana tied to my players card.

1. 2 Free Nights - Valid Anytime
2. $25 Free Play or Free Bet
3. $50 Resort Credit - Spa or Dining

I'm guessing this is why they didn't make it into the MRB this year, of course these were in my mailbox when I got back from Vegas.
