It's not made clear on their website, but what I've been told is that the 500 point threshold is a floor, not a ceiling. As in, you get 1X points for the first 500, and 6X points for any play after that, with no limit on your play after hitting that threshold. You also get $5 free play when you do that.
The bad news is that the VP there is relatively crappy (and of course, it used to be some of the best in town). The good news is that the BBQ joint and the steak special will compete for your stomach's attention.
Also: I believe this is a daily reward, meaning it only applies to points you earn in one gaming day (usually ends at 2 or 3 am, but sometimes midnight). You have to start over the next day and earn another 500 points to regain the 6X multiplier.
A floor would be great. Even with average BP VP l'll check it out next week. I can't resist the food options.
