4 Queens Offer

Just recieved the Chinese New Year offer. For me it is three nightl lodging and $80 in free play. Dates are from Jan 2- Feb 29.

I will only be in town on the 2nd. My concern is if I take this offer for one night am I jeopardizing future offers.

A couple of years ago we were in LV in July and August. We used the offer in July and went back again in August just for a few hours to use the free play and my offers we cut back quite a bit. They have gradually improved should I use the offer for one night to use the free play. My typical coin in on a daily basis is arround $3200.

I'm not sure any of us ever know what the casino will think is good or bad. As long as you will give them your normal play for one day, I would book it and get your free play.
4Q isn't a good place to do drop in play if its going to be less than your normal level.

I would take the one night and give them your normal level of play all in the same day that you redeem the free play and the offers should continue at the same level.

Daily average does play into their mailers so I wouldn't suggest jeopardizing it by say redeeming free play only assuming you still want offers from them.

The offer that I got from them was 2 Free Nights and $20 in Freeplay.

I've been tending to give them between more than 100 to maybe a bit more than 200 or so total points for my entire 2 night stay and continue to get this level of offer from them.

I decided to book the offer. I found out that if you dont book the whole 3 days you lose the days you don't book but that is okay. The one night and $80 freeplay I'll earn 400 points plus which is my daily average and enjoy myself for my last night in Las Vegas until the end of April.

Thanks to all for your input.

I get these offers every month for the 4 Queens and I live here in Vegas. The money is on your players cards whether or not you get the room.
I booked that offer earned my typical nightly amount of points and am still getting the marketing offers I normally get. All is good. My most recent offer includes 60 in free slot play and 60 in non negotiable chips. Never had the chips thing before.

I find it amazing there is so little comment about the Four Queens -- over a year since the last post ... well, maybe not. This year I got my (usual) $80/3-night Chinese New Year's offer. Booked in 2/27-3/1. They want to charge me for the last night; even though I have a March/April offer. Since they seem to have stopped with the food comps, for equivalent play, my strip offers are no worse than this, and the rooms on the strip are a damned sight nicer (just not the gambling). Might be time to look for a new downtown casino.
My Chinese New Year Offer was 2 Free Nights and $20 in Freeplay but I'm not able to take advantage of it. My last trip in November 2012 involved less play than usual (I think I played about 60 points total) and for March/April I received an offer for Buy One Night at $25 (Plus 13% Room Tax) and Get One Free and NO Freeplay.

My offers definitely do vary depending on how much coin-in I run through, but for me, food comps are basically useless anyway since I keep Kosher.

We have been going to 4Q's fairly regularly (3-4 trips a year) for the last 4-5 years. We play on separate cards and have consistently put through 1,500-2,000 points a trip each playing quarter VP. At $8/point that is between $12,000 and $16,000 coin in each for a three day comped stay. For years our offers were always room, food (no Hugo's) and $80 freeplay. As of late last year they went to room, no food up front and $40 freeplay with the opportunity to earn food depending on daily play. I questioned the host on the change and he said our play had gone down. I asked him how they considered play, and he said daily average-not trip average. Before we had always played them a partial day on our last day in town, so we stopped doing that. At our last trip end of January/first of Feb we gave them three full days of play for a three day total of 2,000 points for me and 2,500 for my wife.

We are waiting to see what our upcoming offers look like. If they were in fact counting that partial day play against us, then we should see our old offers return. However, if it is as I suspect and the are starting to up their daily play requirements, then we probably won't.

BTW, we used to always plan our trips over the end of a new month/start of another to take advantage of two month's of freeplay offers. They stopped allowing that sometime about a year ago or so, however we did discover if you book your 4Q's trip at the start of a new month and stay somewhere else the night of the ending day of the previous month, you can still get both month's freeplay offers. However I would again recommend giving them a full day's of play if you redeem the offer so you keep your daily average whole.

Recently we have been getting better offers from MSS, which surprises us since we have never seen Boyd as particularly generous with comps.
