$5 FP / 50 pts: D and Golden Gate Coupons

I'm used this coupon at the D for the last few years.  How do these coupons work with the new combined slot club?

-If you activate your coupon at the D does all your play need to occur there or can you also play at Golden Gate?

-Can you have both coupons active at the same time (24 hr period)?

In the past the player's club attendant would review your play over the 24 hr period and then award the appropriate amount of FP.  Is this still the case and does the new club impact things?

The freeplay should activate automatically and I think it's casino specific, although I'm not sure, it's just what I was told.

Also, a point is $5 in for slots $10 for VP.

It's a pretty awful promotion unless you were going to bet big anyway.

Thanks, though I'd disagree on the awful promotion part.  It adds 1% to any VP machine which is pretty hard to beat.  Up to 10K coin-in of course...

I've used these coupons ever since they have been offered. The D has (or at least had) 5x point days a few times a year and I always used the coupon on one of those days. Never a problem.

Unless things have changed in 2018 you have to go to the Players Club first to "activate" this coupon.  I made the mistake a few years ago of not checking first, played , then went to the Players club and then had to play a bunch of $ through again.  When we were there the end of January they were still working out some kinks in the joining of the 2 players clubs into one  so I would err on the side of caution and check directly with the staff rather than rely on what someone told you

What's awful about the best current video poker promotion? What is the basis for your comment?

Seems like playing $500 on VP just to get $5 in free play would qualify as a awful promotion.  If you were going to play anyway, then take the $5.

Paul, find me a better video poker coupon in Las Vegas. The base game at the D is pretty good and this is 1% on top of that. It works for slots as well, so $250 in slots gets you $5. Again, show me a better video poker/slot play coupon in Las Vegas.
