It doesn't change the value difference becuase it was there both years, but that "22 is a push" coupon is valuable. You can play up to $25 and it takes a case where you would have lost $25 and you get to keep it. If you are planning on playing blackjack anyway, this is effectively worth $25.
If you are going to just play until you use it, then you have to subtract out the house edge on the average number of hands it takes until you get a 22 to get a more refined value.
Either way, it is one of the best coupons.
I'm not sure what the EV of the push 22 coupon so I don't include its value in my spreadsheet.
It's also one of the few coupons I don't use myself because ~20 hands at $25 a pop is just way too rich for me.
you don't have to play $25, it works at the cheapest level you can find. If yu throw in 80% of face at the level you play you would probably be close.
Just got my 2018 book.
It always pains me to physically destroy a brand new book and then throw it in the trash (then taking it out of the trash thinking it might make a good addition to a tiny library nearby).
At any rate, I'm happy to report the 2018 book might be worth $11.55 more, as the $25 matchplay coupon for the SLS do not indicate it's for new members only.
I now value the Strip/downtown coupons for existing members at $79.75 over 2017th $99.25.
