I used the Four Queens coupon each year, and in October of last year, when I used it, I specifically asked if the coupon doubles just the points (used for cashback), or if it doubles the comps as well (there are two seperate balances for these). The answer I received was it just doubled the points (cash back) and not the food, which is contrary to your post.
In fact, the coupon says it doubles up to 500 points, with no mention of comps. Since points aren't usable for food, then the answer they gave me is what I expected.

I had not visited the Four Queens for some time and a a result my comps were 0 to start. I wanted to play $30,000 through for three days to start getting my usual offer from the Four Queens. When I reached $180 in comps I had thought I had played $30.000 coin in at .6 comps, but was told I had not yet played $30,000 coin in, then I remembered I used the coupon. This was in February of this year.
