Another My Vegas Question: When do rewards calendars traditionally roll over to the next month?

I want to take a trip the last week of September ending on the first weekend in October. My big comp is the two free nights. I have redeemed my rewards and refunded them to look at my options. They are giving me weekend nights all the rest of August and all of September at most MGM properties up to and including Mandalay Bay.

A few days ago they changed the language on the rewards displayed in game from must be used by 9/30 until must be used by 10/31 but when you redeem the reward the comp calendars are blank from October first forward.

From experience does anybody have any idea when they will add October in?  I assume they won’t let the clock tick all the way down to September 30th before they add October days?  I want to book my flights as they are incredibly cheap right now.

Oh, I also found out I can use the 25% off and or the rate guarantee rewards in the same trip as the free nights as long as the stay isn’t consecutive.

What I am planning on doing is:

Two weekday nights at an MGM property using the guaranteed rate or 25% off from My Vegas. Roughly $120 a night with resort fees.

Two weekend nights at one of the higher end MGM properties using the two free nights offer. These should be just $45 a night for the resort fees.

Two weekday nights downtown at the Four Queens or Hotel Apache. (should be about $50 - $70 inclusive.

Oh, I am plainning on using the $20 trick to try and get the resort fees waived, a free room upgrade and or free parking for baby's car.  Of course I will be happy If I get any one of these things.

I was trying to do a similar thing and also experienced the blank October thing.

Annoying

Mark, those two comped weekend nights (mLife) should not have a resort fee attached.  As long as no other 'paid' MGM nights are consecutive to them.   I got caught in that trap once at Wynn.

But My Vegas is a different animal than mLife offers even though both are MGM, so I could be wrong about the particular offers you are looking at.

Also, check your dates.  The mLife free night offers (not the MyVegas ones) are currently "through Oct. 31 2022.

As for the $20 trick, decide what type of "upgrade" you would like (Strip view, high floor, pan view, larger room, remodeled room, suite?) before going in.  Do the discreet DL, CC, $20 handover at same time you ask "By any chance would a suite (or whatever) be available?"

Good luck.

My understanding is on the MyVegas comps is you pay taxes and resort fees out of pocket. But there is a good chance to get the resort fees waived via the $20 trick or cough, cough complaining about something not being perfect when you check out.

I got tired of waiting so I bumped my trip up a week. I booked a Thursday and Friday night at the Mirage with my two comp nights.  I ended up getting $498 worth of value out of them.
