Anybody a member of AARP

I turned 50 this year and am giving it a look over.   Its certainly cheap enough to join.

I see there's 10% discounts at Landry's restaurants which would be everything at Golden Nugget.   That looks ok.

I dont know about the travel discounts.   Are those legitimate discounts - or is that the standard discount rate you get from any of 100 other places?

Any pros/cons would be appreciatted.

One of the best things about AARP is the Driver Safety course.  It does take about 8 hours to do online but you will get a few good tips and a good discount on your car insurance.  The test is good for 3 years then you have to take the course again.  Watch for discounts on the course price.

The Outback gives AARP discount and at many hotels, the senior rate is the best price.  I also use the discount at our Park N'Fly facility.
