Anyone Use or Try to Use Silver Sevens' $19.99 Room Rate MRB Coupon?

I called Silver Sevens room reservations today and tried to book a room in December using the LVA's $19.99 coupon.  I knew there would be a resort fee and taxes, but I never even got that far with them.  When I gave them the offer code and explained where it came from, both Room Reservations and Casino Marketing claimed to know nothing about it.

When I went to their website and entered the code, they said they'd send me an email with the offer.  I clicked on the link in the email and got a "SECRET OFFER" which was just a few dollars less than their regular online rate.

I don't think I want to stay there anyway, as this "resort" has the audacity to charge a $39 per day resort fee!

Go the the Four Queens website and check out their room prices--most weekdays are $49 before any discounts, with no resort fee.

Perhaps because Silver Sevens is now changing back to The Continental, previously things like comps and coupons have been wiped out of the system.  Just a guess.

My experience is that nonsubstantive things like name changes don't affect player's club point balances or outstanding coupons before their printed expiration date. However, that was the good old days...

The only way to be sure is to ask someone in the Marketing department, or perhaps a casino host.

Got the $19.99 room rate on October 25.  Had to pay the resort fee of $39.00. Had a lovely room overlooking the pool.  The pool was great, nice and warm. Very tropical.  An oasis in the middle of all the construction in the area.

Also, it was 25X points that day, so racked up enough for a free dinner and breakfast.  Took their free shuttle to the airport.  Very friendly staff.  Couldn't have asked for more.
