Boyd and Stations usually post promos on their web site on the 31st or the 1st (or later) of every month.
Both Boyd and Stations have eliminated point multipliers in some way, both on Senior days and other occasions. Boyd has some multipliers for LOCALS ONLY. In protest, I, a frequent out-of-town guest, will not visit Boyd properties on those days.
Stations has a point multiplier for Senior days in July only, but before that, there were no multipliers for many months. There is one in July, but there may not be one in August. On the other hand, they did extend Senior day restaurant and bar discounts (1/2 points) to midnight instead of 4 or 6 pm. That's a great thing.
We will never stop Boyd because we love Sam's Town so much (despite occasional difficulties), and as long as we still get a gold card, or even a silver card.
We will also never stop Stations as long as we make President, which gives us 1/2 point buffets, and because GVR (and possibly other Stations) recently reinstated free wifi if the room is comped.
We will stop HET/CET if the rooms continue to have plumbing problems, and/or they do not have any bathroom doors...
As for new places, the only one we have been to recently is the Cosmopolitan, who immediately sent us a free room offer. We didn't love the place because the video poker was bad, and the atmosphere was dark and busy with tourists. We probably won't take them up on the room offer because of time constraints (too busy playing good video poker at Boyd and Stations).
