I totally get how the points roll every month now! Yes took a year but the light bulb went off. When you play BJ do they roll points toward your tier. If I get 2000 points one day on VP and play a couple hours of 10 BJ do you get points for the BJ play toward your tier score?

yes, but it takes a while for them to hit. Hubby played at the tables for several hours one trip and it took a couple of weeks to see the points hit for the tier

How long does it take before Tier pts. disappear from an account?
I have been going there since 1999 and never paid attention. They don't work the same as regular points do they?

Not sure, but I think each individual tier point expires in a year, in a rolling fashion. So if you have 5000 points, having gotten the last 1000 points on Feb. 1, you'd have 5000 points on the next Jan. 31 but 4000 on Feb. 1. Can someone else confirm that?

It also seems that the system sometimes screws up; I think some of my points have failed to expire (famous last words...).

Sure would be nice to know exactly where you stand with the expiration of points instead of suddenly seeing 20,000 points disappear!!! This happens way too often. We think we are well over what is needed for Sapphire status then suddenly we are below, even after a recent trip and the addition of points. Also don't understand the difference in attaining Sapphire. My account starts Sapphire at 100,000 yet my husbands shows only 25,000 needed for Sapphire. Makes absolutely no sense and no where is there any explanation or a way to get information. Our host could not explain it.
