Had many interactions regarding the BOGO coupon at The Cosmo. According to the rewards desk (and speaking to a supervisor) it is a one time only coupon. If you have EVER used one on your account, you are done. Per their Terms & Conditions. This has tightened over time, as the first year, I was able to use two on my acocunt. Went this year, told nope, already used it, never again.
Spoke to someone at LVA, and was told that it is per the Cosmo's terms and conditions, beyond their control.
Between this extremely customer unfriendly policy, the reduction in quality at the Wicked Spoon Buffet (been going there since they opened, previusly was a big fan) and the newly instituted pay-for-parking, I will spend my dollars elseware.
They apparently do not like return customers.
They want it to be new members only, which is effectively once-per-lifetime. We tried to get that rescinded, but they were firm. The decision on our end, then, was whether we take it or not. As a rule, we don't restrict use of MRB offers to new members. But this is kind of a bonus offer, since it's not bound into the book. Plus, we reasoned that there are a lot of current and new members who could take advantage, so we opted to keep it. Personally, I don't see the logic in the restriction.
I used it and was underwhelmed by the buffet so I wouldn't have used it anyway.
