I'll be celebrating my 45th in Fabulous Las Vegas and was wondering where the best freebies can be found.

Used to be that pretty much every casino would give you something on your birthday--others on your birth month. Now, almost none do.
This probably won't help you, but if you already belong to a players' club, you'll sometimes get birthday offers in the mail. Also casino restaurants will have some birthday promos--Magnolia's at the Four Queens is one that comes to mind.

Since I'm no longer teaching or coaching, I'm finally able to go to Las Vegas during my birthday month. There are ones for high level players who are far above my level. I did find four casinos that indicate they have something for us lower end players. Ellis Island has $10 free play on your birthday when you swipe your card. Palms has up to $1000 free play when your card is swiped during your birthday month. It doesn't state what the minimum happens to be. Sahara has a birthday kiosk game during your birthday month. I think it's for all rewards club members. Jerry's Nugget has one for "qualified play" whatever that means. I hope that helps.

Not to be a party pooper, but I'd bet that "up to $1000" at Palms involves swiping at the kiosk and selecting one of five or so 'birthday cakes' or 'candles' or other icon, where most people will win maybe $5, a few $10, fewer $25, and so on. Still you'd get something. Fat chance at $1000. Just a guess, but that's how those "up to"s usually work.

If you are Platinum or Black tier at Wynn, there are good freebies in your birthday month.

You're not a party pooper. I totally understand that it will be $5. But since I'm taking advantage of the LVA Rio deal, I'm right next door and can walk over. That's $5 more than I started with. When I did the LVA free spins at Emerald Island and Rainbow, I got the minimum amount at each. That was $15 more than I walked in with. Take care now. I always enjoy your comments.

Thank you, Robert. Once I actually got an 8 X tier bonus someplace (for that day's play only, of course), for which I was really pleased. Usually 2 X.
So true, Robert. Not worth the cost of a plane ticket or even cab fare, probably, but if in the neighborhood anyway, it is worth the walk to the kioske...almost something for nothing, which is rare in the casino world.

Thanks for the info on the Sahara. If it's on my way somewhere and driving by, I might consider stopping in. Otherwise, it won't be on my agenda.
I put Birthday on restaurant reservation. Where it says special occasion.
They all gave me free dessert. The whole week in Las Vegas.
