Boarding pass promo at El Co and D

Anybody know whether the D and El Cortez are still running their free play promotion when you present your boarding pass? 

I don't know of any promotion, anywhere, at any time, where you can get free play just by waving your player's card in the air. There are plenty of promos where you get free play by doing something, such as playing $X, buying a meal, etc. etc. etc. Or...presenting a coupon, like LVA.

Yes - the D gives you two $25 match play chips and ElCo gives you a $25 match play voucher when you show your SWA boarding pass. I don't know if they honor other airlines or not.

Oh...boarding pass, as in, piece of paper you use to get on the plane...I thought he meant "Boarding Pass," Station Casinos' name for their player's card. LOL.

So, how is that advertised?  In the casino?  Never have seen it promoted on the SWA web site when booking or looking to book a flight.  But maybe I just wasn't looking for it.

Would one know to not discard their boarding pass after arrival if staying/playing at the D?  Just curious.   And, even if not staying at the D, would one be eligible for those match plays?  

That's one annoying thing about the emails advertising all the Free Play I am eligible for at this or that casino...it requires booking a stay at that casino.

There used to be coupons in the SWA onboard magazine, but you don't need them to take advantage of boarding pass offers anymore. And no, you don't need to be staying at either casino  - just show them your boarding pass and players card within 24 hours of arrival. You'll probably get $10 free play also at ElCo.

have done both the SWA at the D and Allegiant at Golden Gate for the 2 X! $25 match play chips within the last two months. no expiration on the chips either! just get there within 24 hour of arrivial.

The D also honors Spirit boarding passes for the same deal.  El Cortez honors any boarding pass.
