Boyd Comps for 2012

I was wondering if anyone had received comp offers from Boyd for 2012. I started playing at the Cal last summer and was pleasantly surprised to get limited offers for free rooms and meals almost immediately. This continued through the end of the year, but so far nothing for 2012. I increased my play during each of my 4 visits last year with my heaviest play during my last trip in November. I was wondering if Boyd had tightened their comp belts like the Venetian did or if perhaps they are just less generous in the beginning of the year.
We have been receiving our mailed comps, the last one for the month of March. We have not noticed a reduction, but there have been reports of decrease in offers. Have you checked the on-line B connected site? Is your home casino, the Cal? Do you concentrate your play at your home casino or across various downtown Boyd casinos?
As I wrote in another thread, I visit LV a handful of times a year, and in recent years I've been giving the Boyd properties (Fremont, Cal, Orleans, Gold Coast, Sam's Town) most of my play. All low-stakes BJ - very little machine play except for promos or coupons. Until recently, I'd never gotten any comps from them, except for the occasional BOGO room offers online which I always assumed were available to all B-connected members.

Just recently, I've started getting real room offers in the mail. I had a 2-night stay at the Orleans in December, and now I have a 3-night offer at the Fremont. I have no idea what I did to get these. I "might" have played a small amount of real (not tied to a coupon or promo) money on a recent trip at VP, to get my point total up to the point where I could get some cash back. Otherwise, my BJ play was about the same as it always is, and I ask the pit folks for the occasional buffet comp, but that's about it.

I would be curious to know what amount of play (in general terms) has been known to earn what kinds of comps.
Almost all of my play has been at the Cal. It was definitely my home casino last year. Stayed, ate & played there on every trip but one. I'm a low to mid level VP player, but managed to get into Saphire level with my last visit. In the past I got offers both in the mail and on-line. I've been monitoring their website in hopes of getting something for February. Thanks for the input. Just kind of puzzling to me.

Based on your reply, then it is strange that you have not been receiving continuing offers. We have not been keeping track, but think we receive the monthly mailed offers around the first week of the month. Hope you did not swipe your card during the one trip that you had not stayed at the Cal. This would reduce your ADT.
As I mentioned in a previous thread, the type of card is not that important. It just qualifies you for the tier benefits reflected on their B-connected site. Your average daily play would determine the offer levels.

The type of card does occassionaly get you offers to special Sapphire or Emerald events, but only at the casinos where you normally play.
Its the multiples on the points that add up (and the express checkin and head of line priv. are nice too).
