California/Main Street Station/Fremont deal

Ick! That means that the "deal" is more like $200 for two nights. Big whoop.

So, Mark, I'm dense. 

"This deal does not include resort fees and taxes."  Does this mean that in additon to the discounts and food and drink dollars and early/late checkin/outs, there is also NO resort fee and no taxes?  Or does it mean that resort fees/taxes are still levied, just not stated as part of the deal?

You gotta pay the resort fee, the resort fee tax, the room tax, the tax tax, and the we hope you don't look at your invoice too closely tax. 

The food credits are severely restricted re what you can use them for. Only a few (low-end) items in a few restaurants. And of course, if you're gambling anyway, there's no real value in drink credits.

I do like the early and late check-in/-out. Many's the time I've arrived in Vegas at 2 or 3 pm and had to sit in the lobby for a couple of hours before I could collapse in my room, and many's the time I've wanted to sleep in on the last night of my stay (after gambling until 3 in the morning). Given that the casinos usually charge big bucks for that privilege, that perk is kinda nice.

No the deal has not changed. It is still $175 total for two nights. 

The "room rate"  for two nights is $100 after tax. The resort fee and tax add another $75. 

So the total cost is $175.

It is and always has been advertised as a "$100" special". But when I first posted about it I quoted $175 because that was the total and that's how I prefer to price things out. 

When you consider the $75 food and beverage credit, early check-in, late check out, and included parking The net cost is probably under $50 a night.
