Canada at Par

I love Derek Stevens' new program "Canada at Par".  Circa, the D, and Golden Gate hotel rooms at par, a bar in each hotel with drinks at par, and up to $500 slot play at par.

This is wonderful news and I'm taking advantage of this offer next month.

What it is -- Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Hospitality Group, has launched a "Canada at Par" program at his three downtown Las Vegas properties—Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas, and the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino—to encourage Canadian tourists to return to the city. The program, which runs through August 31, 2026, allows Canadians to pay for select hotel stays, beverages, and gaming at a 1-to-1 currency exchange rate (CAD to USD), offering a significant discount compared to current exchange rates. Key Details of the "Canada at Par" Program: Participating Properties: Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas, and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. Duration: Valid from January 22, 2026, to August 31, 2026. Hotel Stays: Canadians can receive the "at par" rate at check-in, meaning the USD room rate is charged directly in CAD. Gaming: Guests can redeem up to CAD$500 in slot promotional play at a 1-to-1 value by visiting the Club One desk with a valid Canadian ID or passport. Beverages: The program applies to selected beverages at specific venues: BarCanada at the D, Overhang at Circa, and Bar Prohibition at Golden Gate. Eligibility: The promotion is available to all Canadians (aged 21+), and guests do not need to be staying at one of the three properties to utilize the gaming or beverage deals.

Reminds me of when I worked at the Comstock in Reno and Canadians could buy $400 worth of chips at par every day. The loonie was worth 70 cents then, so, such a deal!

Glad to see Derek spreading a little love for Canadians after all the Trump hate. I just hope Canadian tourism rebounds after he croaks. We love Canadians and want them to visit, no matter what our Dear Leader says.

The only "Trump hate" here is yours.

Hate that originates from Trump Insulting and belittling our Canadian friends. I'm glad to see casinos spreading the welcome mat after Trump has been spreading the "Fuck off" mat.
