Cash for points at Harrah's

I've been going to Harrah's properties for the past 15+ years. I use my accumulated points on food and drinks for the most part. I've read something in one of these forums about cash value for points. I can't recall ever getting any money when checking with a hostess. But I never did ask about it either. My question is: Is there a separate total for cash? Maybe I misread the article that i saw. Thanks, Mike
Once or twice a year, maybe 3 times, Ak-Chin has a couple of days where one can convert their reward credits to cash. I'm pretty sure the ratio is 2 to 1. If you have $100 worth of reward credits, you would get $50 cash. I've read where Rincon, Tahoe and Reno also occasionally do this, however, I've haven't read or seen it done in Vegas.
Thanks Lisa,
A few years ago a friend of mine said that he lost $700.00 In cash because he didn't visit a Harrah's casino in over a year. He went to Harrah's Las Vegas when he did go. The rules could have changed since then.
Like Lisa, I've seen the Cash for points (on rare occ.) in Reno & elsewhere,
but haven't seen it happen in Vegas.
Maybe some of the Vegas Locals will know........

One needs to earn at least 1 point every 6 months to keep one's reward credits active. Some people use a harrahs credit card for this reason.
It's not Vegas, but Harrahs St Louis has a "Cash for Reward Credits" kiosk. I also believe the ratio is 2:1. I've never used the kiosk (it's right by the ATM so I've seen it more than a few times, LOL) but I saw an older lady using it last week. She swiped and it looked as if it told her how many points she could convert into cash and it did say there was a $500/day limit. It printed a voucher for her, I assume she took it to the hotel cashier.

Got a snail mail stating in Atlantic City HET/CE reward credit "cash back" (which is freeplay really) is now only good for 60 days--

first it was 6 months- then over winter they reduced it to 90 days last winter.
not good.
use it or lose it
dbueler- Sorry if I offended you, rather joking, but honestly, this is a 3 month old thread.

Editing here as I won't change my post count til 11-11-11. Yes, superstitious! lol
I was standing beside her at the ATM when she asked for help at the kiosk beside me. Geez, lighten up CLV.
