CET 10X TC multiplier promo; 8/26 - 8/30

Decent tier credit multiplier promo for those who are willing to set foot in a Strip CET property during a time when it's 110 (or so) degrees outside. If so, CET members can check their offer banks if interested. This is for Las Vegas properties only.

Are there any Vegas CET properties where one can play not-too-horrible VP and it's not 500,000 points to earn one tier credit?

Their normal earning rate for VP is 1 TC earned per $10 wagered (their system is still largely based on coin-in vs theo, though future comps involve both). CET only has very limited 25-cent denom machines ( Paris and Horseshoe only  according to vpfree2; 98.01%, 7/5 BP). If say you had $15K coin-in on designated machines during this 10X promo, you'd earn 1500 TC's x 10 = 15K TC's ( you'd attain Diamond through the end of 2025 and be rendered quite shiny from the trip, FWIW). Then we'd have to define shiny ? If you're unaware of the Diamond  and/or the other tier perks...

I'd suspect you'd get numerous room offers,FWIW. CET is terrible about feeding (resort/ dining credit) players and free play amounts are paltry. The Diamond dinner award is $100 ( two burgers and  two beers worth; actually you can do a bit better than that but you have to use it all in 1 stop). No resort fees / free parking at the elusive Diamond tier, FWIW. You'd also earn Rewards credits (for food, drinks, other stuff, etc.)..1 RC earned per $10 wagered ; 100RC's are worth $1 for redemption. If you were to wager that $15K, you'd get about $150 worth of 'comps' above and beyond the tier credit earnings. So you could get 3 burgers, three beers, and maybe a sprinkled donut ( facetiously).

If you play that 98% machine at that coin-in level, the straight math says your EV would be about a $300 loss with perfect strategy; who knows..if you hit a royal you'd be potentially double turbo shiny. Just imagine.

There's several CET 98.45% JOB at the $1 level, FWIW. But as you suggest, the games are generally crappy. Yet, as far as Strip gaming promos this is about as good as it gets on LV Blvd..bar none.

I think I've figured out a way to churn dollars through to generate tier credits using sports betting. The hedge will work mathematically, but since I'll be betting 50-100 times the amount I usually bet on sports (via the app) I'm worried that they'll cut me off from the promotion. If my bets go up to 1K from my usual $10-$20, will eyebrows be raised?

What are the promo specifics for sports betting?

Regular rate is 20 TCs for every $100 in parlay bets. 10x makes that 200 for every $100 wagered (but the parlay has to be at least +200).

My first speculation is that they wouldn't cut you off; they've got to anticipate that there would be bettors like yourself for this promo. OTOH, far be it from me to predict what some of these goons would do if they thought they were giving away too much for anything.

But...parlays have vigs of 10% or worse, and you can't offset them the way you can with regular line bets (as in, take the Greens at +7 and the Reds at -7 and eat the vig). So my guess is they'd be happy for you to do that, since your EV would be as bad as if you were playing slots.

True. Unless (under certain odds) you bet two-game parlays both ways and then hedge the 2nd game.
