Coast Connections Dilemma

I need advice.

I really like the GC Orleans and even MSS.

I have always loved the GC for the main bar 9/6 JOB.

Now hat that has gone away I will think through my play options...I play JOB and BP and a lot of low limit BJ.

I am Sapphire with the Coast's. This can be tough for an out of towner that is only in town three or four times a year if you don't play exclusively at their properties. I saty at the LVH due to my Hilton Diamond status but with Hilton pulling out of the LVH in January I am re evaluating my options.

I am Sapphire at the Coast through July of next year so I am trying to decide if I hang in there if I start putting all my play at one place...I am so used to staying at the LVH and getting treatment like a player due to diamond without a lot of play thee I have been able to play a bunch at GC and the Orleans.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I was wondering if you had ever stayed at The Orleans ??? I like the casino and the rooms are spacious... I always ask for high up and strip view and always receive one.

I too am a out of state gambler and was wondering how at your club level that you get to keep untill next year... I am a Ruby and every time I get close to the next level base points drop off... What I understand that out of state gamblers seventh (7) month point earnings are removed... So their are times my base point balance stays the same other times it drops...

If you are a level two (2) player and if you concentrate your play to The Orleans ,I feel that you would be getting a nice upgrade room,meals,invites,etc. Good Luck on your decission ... Richard from Ca.

If you like Coast properties, then you should check out Suncoast. The rooms are very nice (better than any of the Coast properties that you mentioned) as they have floor to ceiling windows and and very nice overall. They have a lot of low limit BJ and a bunch of different vp options that I can't think of the specific games off the top of my head but you could look that up.

I hate the point system...said I needed to visit before July to get over 30K I got there and had 21K watched online during my three day stay and got over 30K so I thought I had re upped my status by hitting the 30K...went in there last week and it dropped to 29,400...this is crazy you would think you have to qualify every year and once you achieve a status level you would not think they would drop you backwards....now that GC ditched their 9/6 JOB at my favorite bar tops I will be heading to Orleans for the 8/5 BP hope they don't dump that!

I usually go to LV 4 times a year (5 this year) and have no trouble maintaining my Emerald (and Sapphire for wife). I split my play between Boyd & Stations, but I prefer Boyd's point system as it last a whole year and the reup is the previous 6 months of play (as oppossed to Stations 6 month/3month deal). But with the exception of 3X points and head of the line, you really don't seem to get much for Emerald over Sapphire.
Still looking for an Emerald lounge...anyone know of one?

With Boyd do you hit the same property for the whole stay or the same by day...I have been hitting GC for 3 - 4 hours then Orleans in the evening for three or four hours...should I try and put it all one place...I may have messed up by just trying to play Boyd and not being property specific with my play?
