Any help would be appreciated.

I am currently Sapphire with Boyd.....if my card expires in July does that mean my point totals accrue August through July annually?

Is it a rolling monthly average pro rated out x12.

I have really struggled with how this works.

I believe it is a rolling average.

Points drop off 1 year after they are earned (for out of towners).

If you already have the required points by Aug 1, then you are Sapphire again for another 6 months or a year (not sure which) ....(out-of towners only).

Check to see how many points you have on Aug 1, then if neccesary, plan a trip to bring it up to Sapphire again. (If it is within reason.)

We keep a record of all our trips,so if something drops off, we know the dates.

Cards are good for a year, and it appears the points stay around for a year for out of towners. My emerald points follow the visits pretty closely and the card expires in August. I'm going in August with 421,000 points and I'll be at ST before the end of the month so I'm not concerned.
