crown and anchor

We were in Las Vegas for Ash Wednesday, so I thought, what better time to use the LVA coupon for the Crown and Anchor?  We went for lunch and talked to Amanda, a very nice person and great customer service!  We sat next to each other in a neat 2 machine bar area.  We each easily played through the points needed with the card reader keeping track for you, which announced our $25 free play.  The machines were playing nicely and I hit 4 kings.  We thoroughly enjoyed our free fish and chips (with buttered peas, yum!)  gave Amanda a nice tip and left ahead for the day!   We will be back!

Is it JOB for the coupon?

Nice score, Susan.

We played 7/5 Bonus

It's unfortunate that bars' VP is so uniformly crappy, but 7/5 BP, at 98.0%, is better than most.

Can you tell us if the points are earned at $1 = 1 point? If so, the expected loss to earn 300 points is $6, which is certainly more than offset by $25 FP and a free meal.

The LVA coupon list value estimation of $16 must be considering only the $25 free play. You have to earn 200 points for that, so it would only cost $4 in -EV. If it takes $2 to earn a point, then it would cost $8 in -EV, and the $25 free play would be worth $24.50. So my suspicion is that it does take $2 to earn a point.

The free meal for 100 points more is conservatively $12 in food for a $100 or $200 play expenditure, which would cost $2 or $4. Either way, a smashing deal.

Anthony has stated in this thread and on video that it is 200 and 100 coin in.

That would suggest that either $1 coin in equals one point or that the details in the coupon is a misprint.

Yes, Anthony was quite explicit about that.

Posted explicitly, in this very thread.

And he of course knows.

Made a nice business out of knowing things like that.

But to some people here, there are no other posters.

No one else who knows anything.

One unquestionable, all-knowing, earless shibboleth.

It's just "me, me, ME and all the stuff I hate!" ad infinitum forever and ever until the worms (soon) arrive.

Use the block function, it's fabulous. No David and no Kevin, unless I actively choose to.

I wonder who you could be referring to.........hmmm

Dan has a hard-on for me, because he's a loyal Trumper and I've criticized him for that.

If the points are 1:1, then the coupon is worth $21, not $16 as indicated on the coupon list. That's why I asked for clarification.

Somehow, that got Dan really upset. Perhaps new meds are in order?
