That having been said, I asked again about the phone calls and Internet access and was informed that you would have to pay for these things individually if you do not have to pay the resort fee. Still $25 (total) for two nights isn't bad at all!
I seem to recall that Local Calls were $1.00 each, because I made a few, and the Internet is $7.95 for 24 hours and less (per day basis) if you get it for a longer period of time. I don't plan on making any calls, (my cell phone was dead) but if, for some reason, you plan to make a bunch of Local/Long-Distance calls and use the Internet, you may well be better off seeing if you can pay the resort fee which then includes all of the above.
Thanks for that information! It's good to know that you don't have to pay the Resort Fee at the D if any part of your stay is comped.
As for at least local phone calls, around Downtown LV there are pay phones at I think Plaza, Las Vegas Club, El Cortez, and Four Queens (maybe more places) which should be charging less than $1 per call, like 50 Cents or less per call.
I do wonder where in the hotel is best to stay in order to get rid of the noise from the Fremont Street Experience (including where the bands play)?
