EL CORTEZ BOARDING PASS

DO we get 10 dollars free play showing this at players club and does it have to be the next day.

C an we park free at El Cortez?

We were there in August and did the boarding pass thing.  They gave us $10 in free play (actually $10-$100, but all four of us got $10) plus a $25 MP.  We could play it the same day, but not if you are using another (i.e. LVA FreePlay) free play coupon that day.   We don't have a car when we are in LV so I can't help with the parking question.

If you are staying at the El Cortez, the parking is free. If not staying there, I always valet park for $2-3 dollars. The El Cortez does give $10 in free play and a $25 match play coupon for showing an airline boarding pass. I also believe that the "D" also gives $10 in free play for showing an airline boarding pass.

We were there in March, and El Co also gives a free drink ticket. The match play at the D was $25. Both places required presentation of the boarding pass within 24 hours of arrival. I think the deal is also only for SWA customers, but might be wrong about that.

I stand corrected, I believe the "D" only gives the $25 match play.

The ElCo used to let anyone who flashed a player's card to the guard at the entrance to the garage park for free. I don't know if that's still the case.

El Cortez has always been all over the place with parking.   The official policy is you need to be Ruby member or higher to get free parking.   Thats the third tier from the bottom if you aren't familiar with the players club.

Off the record I think the garage attendant and management play it by ear.    My Ruby status almost always expires before I get to the casino and then I work back up to it before I leave.    Sometime the attendant will let me through with no card at all...sometimes they are sticklers.

I think the problem is Fremont East brings in alot of people for concerts and local bars...and those people were taking up all the space in El CO's garage.  I understand them cracking down on that.   Seems like they make an effort to let legitimate players park free.

At the El Cortez, when I stay there, I always valet park. Easy in and out for check in and when leaving. I tip the valet attendant $3-5 dollars. Well worth it to me, I don't have to tote my bags long distances and they are quick when returning my car.

EC is 72, not 24, hours.
