We decided to try a few of the places listed in this months article under Video Poker lost and found. We actually made profit at each place and had a few comped drinks as well.
Jackson's. We got the sign up bonus of $20 after playing $100 through as a new sign up. The Sept. offer of play $300 and get $50 is only good if you have played four different times on your card so this is no good for first time visitors. This was a Sunday only special.
Molly's worked perfect as advertised.
Eldorado Cantina, we were only able to get the new sign up bonus and not the $20 for $20 Monday bonus on the same day.
Jackpot was a cluster mess. Barmaid advised us of the play $500 and get $50 free play as she handed us our new cards. I asked about new player bonus and she said no. After $100 play we did get the $20 new player bonus that we were told was not available. After playing this through we continued on to the 500 points and alas no $50 bonus. Continued on thinking we would need an additional 500 after new player bonus so played on to 600 points. Again no bonus. Inquired at this time with barmaid and then she informed us that we had to pull card out after 100 and reinsert card then play 500. Not even close to what we were told. So after 600 points we still only received the new player bonus. Will never return here, sure they won't miss us.
Next stop was Moondoggies. $20 for $20 went smoothly.
All in all not a bad few stops but would have been nice to know about needing four trips to Jackson's before you are eligible for the September promo.
Jackpot, well nothing good to say about this place. Felt disheartened about the way things happened there. Barmaid was basically like "oh yes. You have to pull and reinsert card after you got new player bonus". Well thanks for letting us know when we asked you about it. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone.
All in all we had a fun time and met some great people and experienced some nice new places to play and have a few cocktails. Thanks to the LVA crew for the information.
