Free rooms?

I have been searching on-line for good deals downtown for a weekend it seems that even downtown hotels are getting pricey. I would like to stay at GN , Mainstreet station,or the Plaza.. The Plaza had the best rates so I booked it, knowing I could always cancel. but after thinking about it maybe I don't need to worry about it if I gamble enough. so this is were I need your help does anyone know what it would take in gambling for me to get the room for free? our any tips on getting more pts for my gambling dollars..

Concentrate your play at one place. Remember that your daily average is important. At the end of your stay, talk to a host to see if you can get your room comped. GN would probably be the hardest place to get your room comp of the 3 you listed.

How much do you gamble?

I play $1 slots and $15 to $20 blackjack. and some video poker for maybe 3 to 4 hours a day. but I like playing in different casinos. a little here and a little there, but I usually end up playing in my home hotel at the end of the night for a few hours. my budget for a day is around $500, and $2500 for my trip. never lost that much though, if I knew how many pts. I needed to get comp I would shot for that and give that hotel more of my play..

I'm not absolutely sure about Plaza, but at least at Las Vegas Club (which is owned by the same people as Plaza), what they are now looking for in machine play is both 4 hours a day plus about $1,500-$2,500 of coin-in per day depending on what game is played since they work on a theoretical percentage for each machine game for comps.

Edited to Add: I don't know how much Blackjack at what denomination will get you but playing some $15-$20 Blackjack also should not hurt. That minimum level is too high for me.

2 hours play on 25c JoB gave us 2 Comped nights t MSS

Weekdays or weekends? That's pretty good for such a low theoritical loss with 2 hours on .25 VP.

Were the 2 nights comped at the end of the stay or by an offer that came later after the trip?

We didn't stay there. We went to eat, joined the players club and played a couple of hours 25c Jacks or Better.
The offer came in the mail a couple of weeks later. We are going 23, 24, 25 Feb. We pay $44.00 for 23rd and the other nights are comped.
