Green Valley Ranch

Just noticed on VPFREE2 that Green Valley Ranch has continued to improve their inventory of VP to the point where we might be interested in staying there on our next LV visit. Can anyone give me an idea of the daily coin-in that is generally expected to get room and LFB comps? Our machine play is about 70-75% VP and 25-30% slots with a couple of hours of low-limit ($10 -30) per hand BJ thrown in each day.

Also interested if anyone has any recommendations on a host there to contact.

Thanks in advance,

Jimbo
Recently I was told my $25K a day in action covered the room only. It would be around $50K a day for LFB. This is based on VP playing non optimum machines. It's probably a little lower with some slots thrown in. It's probably half if you do all slots.
Thanks. That's helpful but a bit high in my opinion compared to other places. For example. we've been getting similar comps at M (room for multiple nights + all food/drink at the non high-end restaurants) for about 12-15K per day play. Similar at SouthPoint too (although that's not quite in the same class).

May contact a host to try to get more info before making a final decision.

GVR is WAY WAY WAY higher than it should be.

We think it's the best place for VP with good paytables these days even if they are a little tight on comps! Lots of bartops with different progressives (multi-game but the bonus is 5/8) and super friendly bartenders....another bank of slant top "suited royals" that have different progressives for different suits, triple play and five-play at good paytables, plus 100% VP and the newer 99.8% VP games. We stay there every time and are quarter players, we always get mailers for 2-3 free nights, $25 free play, buffets, point multipliers. Also have a nice host who gives us free rooms. We stay about every three months.
Thanks apmerriman. Your additional information is helpful. Sounds like there's even more good VP than described on VPFREE2 and also a friendly staff as well. We've visited a number of times and like the place but have never stayed there.....yet. Would you be willing to share the name of your host since you seem quite happy with them? We can do it privately if you'd like - post a response and I can share my email address.

Thanks to all,

Jimbo
I prefer the rooms at RR. Isn't GVR inventory very similar to RR?

GVR definitely has more optimum machines.

Also, I've read that GVR has more of the new 99.8% machines.
Could you let me know contact for your host? Thanks

If they have more Optima machines they sure are hiding them well. The few I found were poorly functioning with terrible glare. Doesn't even compare remotely with Red Rock..............at least 1 star down.
