I agree with the detaching comment. Someone needs to train their employees.

LVA needs to provide something for people who haven't been able to use the Distill coupon; maybe if we were paying $10-15 for the MRB it would be ok, but for $40 with shipping having one of the highest-value coupons no longer be valid because the establishment accuses "scammers" (ummmm I call BS; either their employees were allowing reprinted coupons to be used or Distill wasn't generating whatever extra business they thought they would) is really not ok. I also think LVA needs to take some responsibility/accountability because they apparently didn't do sufficient due dillegence on this establishment who flaked out on a coupon they got behind because it wasn't turning out as they expected, and maybe they shouldn't have been offering such a high-value coupon from a rinky-dink place like Distill to prop up/inflate the value of the MRB to begin with...

While disappointing, the loss of this coupon does not negate the tremendous value of the MRB. Over the years other coupons offered in the MRB have been pulled for similar reasons because of misuse.

The book is notably slimmer on good offers than in the past; perhaps the price should have been trimmed accordingly. I find the whole premise of any company voiding a coupon I actually paid for to be BS on its face, but I know it happens. It just *shouldn't* have have happened for one of the coupons that LVA touted as one of the marquee values in this year's book, and LVA needs to materially acknowledge that.
I have been an Advisor subscriber for 20+ years - and the price of the book has been the same for all of that time. What else that you subscribe to for that length of time has not changed in price? The current book has plenty of coupons that should enable you to recoup the purchase price and it gives you the opportunity to make money. Sheesh!
Given the limited number of employees, it's hard to believe this was one of those scams where a few people were getting numerous coupons and using them repeatedly. Seems very, very unlikely anyone was printing copies of coupons and using them. Bartenders are inherently good at remembering people. NO WAY was this a case of the same person(s) using coupons over and over. Nobody was running van fulls of homeless through this place for $50 per.
Seems that Distell took too many Hit And Runs by coupon players who'd just come in and play the minimum to get the bonus then head out the door. Rather than admit the play was too strong for them to continue to offer they, and LVA, simply scream "SCAMMER" That's a load of horse manure and everyone knows it.
That's one of the more uninformed comments I've seen in a while.

I see. Thanks for the advice. We're selling a membership, not a coupon book. If you see it as the latter, you're in the wrong place. If this will satisfy you, send back the portion of the MRB that you haven't used and we'll give you a full refund. But we won't be doing business with you again. Cool?

Go over to the Sink and read some of Kevin and Toad's posts. I'm not sure why you allow this on your site. Shut that kitchen sink hole down and if these guys keep it up, ban them.
