Henderson deals in MRB??

We are heading to the West Rim Grand Canyon for a tour and wondered if there are any MRB coupons in Henderson worthy of doing a coupon run?

Easy. Visit Emerald Island and Rainbow in downtown Henderson. Eat at one or both, using the coupon, and do the wheel spins, again using the coupons.

I went to Las Vegas in December and highly recommend the pastrami sandwich at Emerald Island.  LVA has a BOGO for this year as well.

My friend and I each ordered a 12" club and it huge, we could have split one and had a very filling lunch.  We are both originally from the Northeast and have a good idea as to what makes a good pastrami sandwich, this was it.  The meat was slightly fatty, which is the way we like it, also hot and tender.  I can't get that quality of meat anywhere within 40 miles of where I live in Texas now.

The only negative, it I could call it a negative, was that it wasn't on the traditional rye, or marble rye bread.   The hoagie roll worked well though.

There was a coupon for free spin of the wheel last year, but we didn't stay long enough to use it.  We went there right after we got off the plane because we had to kill some time until our room at 4Q was ready.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the input!  Do you have a preference on the cafe's at either?  We will definitely stop at both and eat at one.  Do you know if the coupons terms make you get an entree or can you get sandwiches?  The coupons say entree, but in most cases, you can order off the menu.  Not sure if you know the answer to that or not or if we just ask when we get there.

Another question...can you describe the wheel spin?  is it to win like $5 or what are the denominations and how difficult is it to get 100 or 200 points in order to be eligible for the spin?

Same ownership, both places the slots are loose and the points add up quick to reach the spin. Probably most people will win $10-$20 on the spin. A couple years ago my spin hit the $100.

As far as which place to eat we like Emerald more, but Rainbows might be more interesting to some.  Both are very good.  These places are old school Vegas.  Lots happening there daily.

I like the EI Grill a bit more, because their menu is more extensive and they have great specials. However, if I hear a burger calling...it's off to Triple B's.

I'm pretty sure a sandwich will count as an "entree" with the coupon. I use half off coupons there all the time, and they say "entree," and sometimes I've had a sandwich. No problem.

They're pretty flexible with their offers and the terms thereof.

$1 coin-in is 1 point. The best play is the various penny poker games--pick your poison. You need a player's card to redeem your offers, so go ahead and get one at each place. I believe they give you some meal goodies just for signing up.

You could play five-play VP, for instance, at .25 a hand (.05 for each of five hands), and that would be 400 hands to earn 100 points--you could do it comfortably in an hour. Or play double that amount per hand and finish even faster.

The EI's wheel ranges from $10 to $100, but there's only one $100 spot. The Rainbow's wheel has three $100 spots, but also some $5 spots. I believe the mathematical value is $15 at the EI and $16 at the Rainbow. My very first LVA coupon spin at the EI hit the $100 mark.

Such great information! Thanks to all!  Looking forward to these two gems in Henderson.

I understated the value of the spins; it's actually $16 for EI and $21 for Rainbow. However, you have to play $200 to get the Rainbow spin, and only $100 to get the EI spin. But your expected loss at VP is less than a dollar for each.
