How long does it take to get on the "M"s radar?

Well low and behold... Today I was going thru some old mail and I noticed a piece from the M stating the my "rewards" have finally arrived! Enclosed was a 2 night rooms offer good till 9/30, 25 in FSP and a free buffet. I'm hoping that another comes for October since that's the next time that me and the family will be in Vegas!
You might want to call and ask for a host. Tell her about your offer and when you are coming. She may be able to help.

I would say you are in line for rooms and would echo what Keith is saying. My wife and I had no trouble getting invites that included rooms, free play and food when they were owned by the Marnell's (M). But since Penn gaming got control - not so much. Obviously you have given them the play they are looking for.

The rooms are superb. Each one is designed so you can see the strip while sitting in the Jacuzzi tub that is a part of every suite. My college roommate is in charge of all the landscaping at "M". I never thought much about the difficulty of keeping plants alive in a desert climate until I talked with him! Guess a degree in Landscape Architecture has value in the Casino world.

Hope you have a great time. My wife and I would love to start getting room offers again!

That's if you get a Strip view room. The rooms on the opposite side of the hotel have a view of, well not much, unless the view of southbound I-15 heading off to SoCal is your cup of tea.

A stay at the M used to be a "must" for us. Best rooms we've ever had. But our offers dropped off dramatically. I don't know that my offers were "free", but maybe one night discounted and a 2nd free. Now we both get 25% off rack rate. Seems to have lost some allure for us, but we still visit. It's just that free rooms elsewhere are hard to turn down...
Three things that have slipped from M 1. offers are lower if you even receive any---the buffet we felt was one of the best 9very good) now they have gone downhill the past year---and when we visit there mostly we make it a Wednesday or Thursday and you see people (locals) carrying 3 and 4 of whatever is the give away that day they sit them all over the machines and chairs next to where they are sitting. That does bring locals in by the droves. It was a must stop for us and but anymore we play it by ear. In fact July and Sept. trips we bypassed M.
