this list is only partially accurate. You must add 1 dollar TIP every time you get your drink, and suddenly these bargains are not such great bargains anymore....

Boris- true as to what you say, but if one were to drink, would you rather pay full price plus a dollar tip -or- would you rather pay 1/2 price plus a dollar tip? I know what my choice would be...

David, I see your point-of-view. And one of the reasons why I have been Member of the LVA for 2 decades almost is the heavy discounts that you get from all the coupons. These coupons are unbeatable. I am aware that we Europeans are not so very welcome in America for exactly this topic mentioned. Americans are much bigger tippers that us Europeans because in many countries, TIPS are already included in the grand total. It is hard for us to comprehend the strategy that US restaurants follow by "outsourcing" labor costs to the customer in a way that its own employeed do not really know how much their paycheck will be at the end of the day...Apart from the fact that it is questionable that all TIPS are correctly being taxed by the employee who receives them....(which is a question for a different day maybe).

I follow the rules and I definetely contribute in the US tipping mentality, but since I usually visit Las Vegas for 2-3 weeks each time I realized how much money from my gambling budget is being used for tips. You will be surprised if you would take notes on how much you are tipping any given day. 500-750 Dollars in TIPs easily vanish from my pockets each time and I still think that I am not a GEORGE. So, a 1.25 Dollar Hot Dog at Southpoint actually costs 2.25 (or 2 at least), and then the numbers above will look completely different.
