Is it ever worth it to "buy" Caesars points?

Caesars and Wyndham points can be transferred on a 1:1 basis and Wyndham points can be bought on sale occasionally for about a penny a point.

I suppose you could spend those points at a Caesars restaurant and save on the sales tax, but are there any other ways to take advantage of it?

I assume you have the wyndham business earner card as it gives Caesar diamond status (after matching). I just recently stayed at Caesar's palace with the diamond status. No resort fees and discounted stay. I used my points converted from wyndham to cover my stay. I would use those points mainly for hotel stay and restaurants.

I think its offered mostly as a way to top off your point balance.   So if you have enough points for 4 1/2 nights   you can buy the remaining points to get it up to 5 nights worth....etc.

Wyndham Rewards has lots of good promotions.    They have one right now to stay 2 nights and they give you  points for 1 night.    I'm using that for a weekend in St Louis next month and going to a Blues game.
