At Klondike Sunset, it takes $2 play to earn a point, so that's $2,000 coin-in. Playing quarters, it will take about three hours; playing dollars, you'll get there in less than an hour. Klondike has NSUD games that return 99.73% with perfect play, which makes the coupon worth about $15 for experts. Most will play less than perfectly and the EV decreases according to the reduction in skill level, possibly to the point where playing it has a negative expectation. So don't play just to get the bonus unless you've studied the game (or have a good strategy card) or you'd intended to play that much anyway. If you don't know NSUD, there's also 9/6 Jacks or Better, which makes the coupon worth about $11 with perfect play.
Anthony, I was at the Klondike to redeem my coupon and the lady at the players' club was fairly new so she did not know how to process my international passport. I then decided to let go and do the sign-up rather this year when I have more time and patience....
Well, that's just one part of the story. While she had me wait for her supervisor to return I walked around through the floor to check-out the machines. The good games are near the entrance but they all have a sticker on it saying something like..."not valid on any promotions" or the like. So I am not sure if the 2000 dollars coin-in criterion works on these NSUD games. Imagine you do the 2000 Dollar coin-in on quarters (which takes about 3-4 hours), just to find out that they will tell you that you must play anything but the 99.50% or higher games....
Can you confirm that the coupon is good for NSUD play?
Greetings from Switzerland
