Looking for a place with late night specials and laid back atmosphere

we've always had a place to hit the first night to celebrate being back in town, and unwind from the trip. For years it was McMullins across from Orleans (half price apps after 11pm, huge irish nachos, and good 4OAK bonuses),but the bonuses were discontinued and our favorite bartender left, so we moved on. Last few years, it has been Porchlight grille (half price menu, minus steaks and salmon, after midnight). killer burgers. But the music choices of the bartender have left us looking again. anybody have a favorite?

Not sure if they're the first places I hit up....but I've become a loyal patron to the tiki bars:  Frankie's Tiki Room on Charleston (near AZ Charlies)...and the Golden Tiki in China Town.      Fruity rum drinks with umbrellas and old school burlesque music?   Whats not to like?   Not much food, though.

Pick your own "Dive Bar".Back Stage?

Check the information of local happy hours.

"Shut up and drink".

I still like the 777  @ MSS. (2) HA's per day.

Noisy,but cheap.

Why not choose The Peppermill?  Laid back and cosy, but I have NEVER been there!

Food and drinks and 9/6 at the bar.

I would also suggest Siegel's 1941 at The El Cortez for lunch or dinner.

Also,Triple George down around the corner.

There are a TON of food bargains,if you are willing to look.

We know them all.

Happy Hours are all over.

Sometimes it's best to hang at your hotel bar on your 1st night. Get to know the place, bartenders, waitresses, ect. Plus, people tend to over-indulge once in Vegas the 1st day, best to be close to your room if that happens.
