Low roller Fitz offer

So, how bad ARE the rooms? This sounds intriguing if the rooms aren't horrible.
The rooms aren't horrible, but the're not our first choice by any means. If you're just looking for a basic, smaller Holiday Inn style room (in fact, I think the place was a Holiday Inn at some point in its past) it's adequate.

I stayed there a second time on a solo trip. It was a place to sleep, and it met that need. I heard a rumor a while ago that they were going to be getting all new mattresses, but I don't know if/when that may have happened (or not).

If you're looking for a cheap no-frills place to sleep and shower, the Fitz should work. If you're looking for a nicer hotel to spend your vacation at, consider looking elsewhere.
I stayed there with some friends last year. My room was fine; functional, clean, and no problems. My friend's room had some issues with the tub not draining, but we were paying like $20 for one night, so...
I've stayed there a half-dozen times, and it's fine to sleep and shower. I felt safe, no frills - and felt I got what I paid for. Once on check-in I discovered a really dirty bathroom and asked to be moved. They sent the bell people up for my bags and had me in a clean new room within a half-hour. If that had been my first experience, I might feel differently. They seem to want people to have a good time and have always offered good service. I don't play much there, but usually get a few offers for bonus slot play, food and a show. The Vue Bar outdoor balcony overlooks FSE. With the MRB 2x1 it's a good place to people-watch and enjoy a sandwich from the appetizer menu, with a cold $2.00 Bud draft!

I give my buddy the free room I get from my offers whenever he comes to town with me, while I'm staying at MSS. Frankly, I think the Fitz rooms might be nicer than the MSS ones, which isn't saying a whole lot. Clean, comfortable, etc.

Overall, MSS (and the restaurants at the Cal) are just so much nicer than the Fitz, whose public areas and clinetele seem a little down in the mouth. But you simply can't beat their offers. Certainly the best I get anywhere, considering ratio of offer to amount of play.

BOGO is the acronym for Buy One Get One (Free) which would cut down on people's expenses.

Thanks. If they'd said BOGOF, I would have known immediately.
"BOGOF" doesn't roll off the tongue as nicely as "BOGO" (pronounced "Bo - Go").
