LVA Buffet Coupons in the New Normal?

Hi, I tried searching but didn't see anything regarding the usage of LVA Coupons now that most buffets have closed. Is anyone in the know on whether or not these coupons will be repurposed by LVA? Something like a BOGO at the new spot that opened in Palace Station (Brass Fork?) or are these Buffet coupons now just useless? Thanks for any help.

There is a discussion of this under Questions to the Staff, initiated June 21,2020, "MRO Discounts for Dining..."   Check out that thread as it will answer your questions.

Yes the buffets are small and provide few items. Her in tunica Hollywood has a seafood buffet Friday and sat for 59.95. You do get snow crab and one small lobster ( previously frozen). There is small salad bar and desert bar. At Goldsteike. you can get snow crab for extra charge but only one order. Other orders are so so. I can have fresh lobster deliver for 26.95 each. Live lobster. Buffet use is ?  There is no relation to old buffet. Fremont sends me a 30 dollar food coupon to eat at Lanai Expres. A joke. ? Is what will happen when crowds decrease in winter?  I stayed at Fremont every 2 months. I got 3-4 free night. Free night now? Zero. The Main Street has gutted video poker. So has Main Street and California. Why should I leave tunica for Vegas to play same video poker. Vegas is on self destructive course.

Fremont has gutted video poker. Only place to play is 4 Queens.

I haven't played at any Boyd property in a few years, as the mailers really sucked. Fremont and the Gold Coast used to have NSUD. Have they taken these out?

I'm sure that Anthony is already trying to cut deals with whichever casinos still have (or will have) buffets in 2022. The trouble is, most of the regular LVA buffet coupons were for Stations casinos (who have already informed Anthony, as he reported, that they're not giving anything away any more) or Boyd casinos (who have only reopened Main Street Station's buffet, as of this writing). Cheap buffets---and buffet discounts---may unfortunately be one of those things that we like about Vegas but are a thing of the past.

Gold Coast still has several banks of NSUD. Fremont has nothing playable. See VPFree2 for details.

Note that Boyd will give you virtually no player's club points for playing their better video poker. Last time I played NSUD at the GC, I received ONE point for $6,000 coin-in. One.

I play NSUD regularly at the Gold Coast and get the advertised one point for every $2 coin-in. Something's very wrong if you only got one point for $6000 coin-in.

They've adjusted their coin-in to point ratio based on "theo." They might have recently changed that back, but the last time I played in Boyd casinos, which was in early 2020, Gold Coast, Sam's Town, and Orleans, I earned nothing for my play.

I just realized, though, what the difference might be. You might have a higher card level than I do. I remember back then (and maybe now), if you were the red card level, you got nothing for your play except the chance to advance to a higher level. That made me walk away for good, so I don't know what they're doing right now.

I'm in the same boat with Kevin on Boyd.  They lost all my business.
