M Resort New Offers

Just received my July mailing and everything is the same....2 free buffets with line pass and the buy one room Sun-Thurs $69 get one free. Just called for Wed & Thurs Sep 19&20 and can't get it . Same thing happened last year a week later.
I am a Downtown person anyway but have enjoyed staying at the M Resort my first 2 nights usually Sep.& Apr. every year since they have opened.
I guess that will change now with the take-over of the Hollywood Casino group.

Why are you linking the non availability of a room on a certain night with the take over of the Hollywood Casino group? Room availability is tight if you pick dates that coincide with a large convention booking there. That was the case before the new ownership as well. Nothing new. It looks like Sept 17-19 there is some kind of large booking there.

We just received out July mailing yesterday. I called and was able to book the following week, Sept. 26-28, at the $69 for 2 nites with no problem. It just depends on what's happening at the hotel at the time, not the ownership.

I booked 9/20 & 9/21 no prob for comps.
They luv me again, and I back to 2 nights free, and whole $25 FP.

My mailer offer just got bumped up to two free nights. I'm considering shifting to M for an upcoming five-night trip since I like playing there. Has anyone found out if either (a) there's a casino rate that M might offer upfront through a host or the reservation line, or (b) if room-rate reductions or full comps are fairly generously given out by hosts? I'm thinking I might be in the range of 5K to 6K coin-in per day. (And if anyone has a host name to suggest, I'd welcome it.)
